Handsome Dan's Helpful Guide to Superbowl Victory

So, you wanna be a Fantasy star? You've come to the right place. Pay attention and you'll be well on your way.

Quick overview:

Manage your team, check the stats and projections each Sunday night, make changes as necessary. Done!

Longer overview:

When logged in to NFL Fantasy click on the My Team tab. It will give you all you need to manage your team.

Your team consists of 7 active players, 1 active kicker and 1 active defense. There are 6 players on the bench. You can swap the active and benched players around as required.

Changing players

To swap players around just click and drag on a pc, or click the obvious buttons on a mobile device.

The default set of stats for your team is the Stats tab. It shows what your players have done. Click on Projections to see what someone somewhere thinks your players will do in the future.

If your active players have lower stats than your benched players, consider swapping them. If they all have low scores, consider dumping their lazy ass and buy someone else.

You can Trade players with other Team Owners. Or you can hit the open market and get a player not assigned to any Team.

Click the Add button.

You can filter by position, flick between Stats and Projections... etc. When you've found your new gun player, click the + to select them. You will need to drop one of your duds. Confirm the change.

Waivers

Most players are subject to Waivers. That is, the trade won't be formalised for about a day to give other Team Owners the chance to hire that player. If multiple Teams want a player whoever has the highest Waiver rating at the time wins. The Waiver rating depends on your position in the Standings. The Team in number 1 spot gets Waiver 10. The Team in 10th place gets 1st pick at the Waivers.

Byes

Each NFL Team has one bye. During a bye obviously the players cannot score any points. Be aware of when your player's bye's are so you can swap Active and benched players, or go to Waivers and buy a new player in.

Injuries and Suspensions

Each week the Team Line-up will be updated to show whether a player is starting, possibly starting, or not not starting. Swap/trade as required.

Scoring

Each player's scores are determined by their on-field actions. A QB scores positively for yards thrown, TD's thrown, etc. They can also lose points if they throw an interception.

The scoring breakdown is available at the below website:
