Week 2: Match-ups

Week 2 - chance to redeem from a loss and a chance to humble an opposition. Can the games best players please show up and give us some lovin'!

Lighties (77) v Farnsworth (91)

The Farnsworth's had a solid win over a depleted Marcy in Week 1 and start favourites in Week 2. We all know what happened to the Lighties last week, they had the game sealed until the number two draft pick took to the field in Monday Night Football and scorched em. Both teams needs their studs to stand up and take charge, like the studs they are. Farnsworth's may want to swap Martin out and replace him with West.

The General (97) v Breesus (74)

It's the 2013 Championship Game rematch and The General will be keen to make amends. If Week 1 is any indication this could be a super-close game, as both sides were within 1 point of each other. The projection has the General way in front, but look to Breesus to gain some mystical insight and make some late team changes to even the scores.

Marcy (71) v Zim (80)

Marcy's first game was a fizzer with her star QB sidelined for the game. But Newton should be back in Week 2 to provide those much needed 20 points. A bevy of Did Not Practice icons may give her pause, but each player should still suit up on Sunday. Zim has a reasonable projection despite stud's Lynch and the Seahawks having low projections. The Chargers, the 'Hawks opposition, are rated too highly in my opinion and both should perform much better than their projections indicate. Looking at Foles to bounce back and put in a four-quarter effort this week.

Agent P (89) v Bradysbrothers (83)

The platypus with the fedora had a slow start to the season with her star players all but taking the week off. The projection thinks that should change this week - you cant keep a good stud down. Meanwhile, Bradysbrothers was off to a flying start, topping the scoring and beating Zim. The newbie is taking a huge gamble this week on the Jaguars rookie, Hurns, who is so green he doesn't even have a projection. His first two catches in the NFL went for touchdowns, BB will be hoping lighting does strike twice.

Endless (78) v Doof (78)

Doof got away with one in Week 1 when Megatron single handedly beat down the Lighties (can't let than go). And Doof will need another big game from the big man to get over the line in Week 2. Some positive points from the defence would be nice too. Endless lost a close one to the General last week and posted a good score despite poor performances from Charles and Bryant. If these two can fire then Doof may be toast. Endless may have wanted to swap Ellington for Bell, but with Bell already in play it is too late to make that change. Hopkins for Ellington might have to do.
